Jess Wilkins is a ceramic artist living in Durham, North Carolina. She is drawn to intuitively shaping by hand as well as using calculated precision on the wheel, making both sculptural and functional work that embodies a sense of sacred care.  Full of mark making, ornamentation, color and pattern the pieces honor the energetic forces in and around us.
